Rajnath Singh to visit US to bolster defence-strategic ties

Defence minister Rajnath Singh will visit Washington this month following PM Modi’s recent trip to Russia. Key discussions with US Defence Secretary Lloyd J Austin will include enhancing bilateral strategic-military ties and addressing delays in delivering jet engines for India's Tejas fighters. Singh will also aim to strengthen 'Make in India' initiatives with US defence companies.
