Database of 8L cooperatives to help in framing policies: Amit Shah

Union home and cooperation minister Amit Shah launched the National Cooperative Database, mapping details of 8 lakh cooperatives. It promotes expansion of cooperative sector and connects villages to cities, mandis to global market, and state databases to international databases. All states have accepted model bylaws for PACS expansion.
